Back in the jungle gym

The day started off much like it ended. A down tree every 5 minutes if paddling. Slowly it improved to only 1-2 per hour. The river is swifter and there are still many obstacles to be maneuvered at relatively high speed. The river is also full of hair pin turns. At one point Joseph commented that if he was to turn back any tighter her would be coming back at us.
Lunch at a fishing dock.

Today we saw more deer swimming and crashing through the swamp. Chris saw and heard 3 river otters. Lots of owls calling. And incase you thought (as we did) it was too late for mosquito season, it is not.
Raeleen "resourcing" more water.

At one point 2/3 the group took one route while 1/3 took another. After coming upon a major blow down of at least 4 trees we realized our mistake and turned back. An hour later, following a trail of toilet paper tied to trees the group reunited.

We have managed another camp sight on flat ground. We believe we are on nature reserve land but we are very near a house. Camping low profile without fire.

Leaves and spiders fill the boats at the end if the day.

We are approaching 321 and about 1.5 days behind schedule at this point.
