On the road

We managed 3 boats, 3 paddlers and a whole big bunch gear in Joseph's 1989 Ford truck. We gathered in Easly SC to load up and are now on the highway headed toward Aiken State Park for overnight camping and take off in the morning. 

We stopped by to see the skin on frame kayak that Joseph made for the trip but at the last decided against for reasons of space and concers regarding water temperature. 

Grandma banana nut bread is keeping us satisfied on the way down. Yum.
