So we are where?

Two days paddling with little reception, no map and no GPS left us a little disoriented but we are back on the grid and though we are not too sure of milage we know we are coming into Springfield SC tomorrow. 

The second half of today included excitement such as Raeleen trespassing and stealing (water from a garden hose), a river jammed up with trees, logs, bushes and every other obstruction and a greatful find of an island on which to camp among all the cypress swamp. The island was a little soggy but came with lots of fire wood. The moon is waxing and the nights warming. 

One obstruction of many. The machete has been used almost as much as the paddle.
