Asteroids strike back.

Last night about 130 AM we awoke to the noise of what sounded to be giant hammers on sheet metal. Found out later it was a paper factory and they had WHOLE trees in the equivalent of a washing machine removing the bark. Wow that was loud.

Headed out and had a had a first stop at Lansford canal state park. Met a helpful ranger and enjoyed a nice break in the shade.
Spider Lilliies - one of only apx 4 populations in the world.

Left the park and paddled into what felt like a minefield. It made the asteroid belt look like child's play. Rock after rock after white water. It was a physical and mental exercise in concentration and good luck.  Would have been super fun in a little agile boat, the 14 foot plus boats were crashing and catching.
Oyster mushrooms - collected and enjoyed.

Paddled through fishing creek lake and going to tackle the challenge that is great falls area tomorrow.

Can u see that boat? Go camo!

Convertible canoe/ camper. Look no yolk.

Dam at sunset.

Milage totals; trip 190. Day 18
