How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop? THREEE! Turns out that is the same number of days until a group of Catawba paddlers really smell bad. Bad like a combination of dirty dog, old forgotten fish tank and white vinegar.
Completed Rhodhiss, part way through hickory lake. Had long, sun- exposed portage at Rhodhiss dam at the heat of the day.
Nathan and Vicki win all the awards for the day. They set us up with a wonderful dry dock for camping (big storm raging), brought supplies, took away extras, shuttled to the store and best of all delivered hot pizza and cold drinks right to the river. You guys warm our hearts.
